Six5Design X-level ATV Swing Arm:

Six5Design is proud to introduce their innovative line of ATV swing arms.

Our range of Six5 swing arms are unique to say the least.

Six5 have gone drastically against the grain when it comes to this area of their product line.

These swing arms are a statement of individualism as well as to prove that lightweight components can be built to outlast and outperform the conventional (box tube style) swing arms that have ruled the market for years.

These swing arms are pounds lighter than the nearest competitor.

In addition, Six5 have proved that longer swing arms aren't always better.

Their X-Level swing arm is slightly shorter than the OEM unit and they are able to do this by shifting the entire wheelbase forward. Now traction can be gained without the common "light front end" feel of your ATV.

Six5 have taken the same approach in designing their linkage system.

By using 4130 chromoly steel tubing for the front link, it’s possible to have a link that weighs the same as a comparable aluminium link with the added strength of steel.

It also carves through the dirt much smoother than an aluminium link for two reasons

1. It only contacts the ground on the tangent of its round profile.

2. Being that it is a more dense material it does not act as sticky.

The rear link is constructed from 6061 billet aluminium and made as light as possible, after the machining process their links are anodized for protection and engraved for a touch of style.

Kit includes:

Swing arm with pivot needle bearings and seals installed (powder coated to match your style)

4130 chromoly tube style front linkage, with all needle bearings and seals installed.

Super lightweight 6061 anodized and engraved billet aluminium rear link, with needle bearing and seals installed.

Rear carrier pinch bolts and nylock nuts.

Owner Operator:  Jake Balsiger.

Was born and raised in Northeast Ohio.

Jake has always been involved in off road motor sports with his family and fell into an ATV racing career at the age of 15 at The Annual ATV National TT Event at Pine Lake, in Ashtabula Ohio.  From that moment on he was hooked on competing in the National circuit bouncing back and forth between the Motocross and TT Events.

After a year of racing Jake found the need for more aftermarket components to stay in the race scene and began working at JB Racing of East Springfield PA, simply to work off a component he didn't have the finances to pay for, after settling his debt Jake took on full time employment and studied his way through college where he studied engineering.

The following season he suffered a fractured vertebrae and satisfied his goal for a National Championship.  During this period of time Jake honed his skills as a fabricator and welder often staying far past close to build abstract components for the shear enjoyment.

After proving himself worthy, JB Racing gave him the opportunity to take hold of their head designer / fabricator role, where he remained for several years.  After a severe leg injury that resulted in multiple surgeries and many months of rehab Jake came back into competition where he remained for most of the season before hanging up his gear.

After migrating south; changing locations gave him an opportunity to design an entire line of ATV Suspension components for ATV Four Play.  In this time developing a signature series for John Natalie Jr. which he used in one of his Pro Championship winning seasons.

Jake decided it was time to challenge himself in the world of production fabrication, where he stayed for 3 years soaking up as much knowledge as possible while continuing free lance design work on the side, before laying it on the line and opening Six 5 Design LLC.

Establishing this company has been a dream of Jake's for 10 years, during this time working in the field, his family and friends have been simultaneously helping make his dream a reality.

For that Jake offers them thanks for their faith and support.
